Terms of Use

1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the AIFN static sites — aifirstnation.org, airi.foundation, ai4sme.org, and aifirstcourse.org (together, “the Sites”) — run by Laurence Liew (“I”, “me”) from Singapore. Using the Sites means you accept these terms.
Course, assessment, and community services on other ecosystem domains (aiready.sg, community.aifirstnation.org) run on WordPress with their own terms published on those sites.
2. What the Sites are
The Sites publish articles, the AI Readiness framework, course materials, and related content, and offer email newsletters and downloadable resources. They have no user accounts; signing up for a newsletter or downloading a resource does not create an account or a contract beyond what the Privacy & Data Policy describes.
3. Content and licences
Site content is © Laurence Liew unless a page or download states otherwise. Where a download or page is marked CC BY 4.0, you may share and adapt it with attribution under that licence’s terms. Everything else — including newsletter issues sent to your inbox — is for your personal use: quote it, link it, teach from it, but don’t republish it wholesale or present it as yours without permission (which, for the record, is usually granted when asked).
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Sites in ways that break applicable law, probe or attack them, submit spam or automated sign-ups, or misuse the contact forms. Anti-spam screening (described in the Privacy & Data Policy) is in place and silent for normal use.
5. Embedded third-party content
Some pages embed third-party content (for example, YouTube videos behind a click-to-play panel). Once you interact with it, the third party’s own terms and privacy policy govern that interaction; I don’t control it and don’t endorse everything behind it.
6. No professional advice
Everything on the Sites is general educational and commentary material. It isn’t legal, financial, or other professional advice for your situation, and AI-related content describes tools and approaches that change quickly. Use judgment (and qualified advisers) before acting on anything here.
7. Availability and liability
I keep the Sites accurate and available on a best-effort basis, but content may contain errors and pages may be unavailable. To the fullest extent the law allows, my liability arising from use of the Sites is limited to the amount you paid to use them — which, for freely available pages, is zero. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for EU consumers, whose statutory rights are unaffected).
8. Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top moves with any change, and the live page governs.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Contact: the contact form on any Site. Related documents: Privacy & Data Policy · Cookie Statement.
