Short version: the AIFN static sites set no cookies of their own — none for analytics, none for advertising, none for “remembering you”. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to switch on.

That is the complete list. These are set by the network layer, not by the sites, and they are exempt from consent requirements everywhere that has such requirements (including the EU’s ePrivacy rules) because the sites cannot be delivered securely without them.
What these sites deliberately do not do
- No Google Analytics or any other analytics — no
_ga,_gidor_gatwill ever appear here. - No advertising or marketing cookies, no cross-site trackers, no social-media pixels.
- No “functional” cookies that remember your name or preferences between visits — the forms do not need them.
- No local storage or session storage used for tracking.
When you sign up for the newsletter, no cookie is set. When you use the contact form, no cookie is set.
The one third-party touchpoint
Some essays on aifirstnation.org show YouTube videos behind click-to-play panels. Preview images load from Google’s image servers when you scroll to them; the videos themselves run in Google’s privacy-enhanced embed (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you click play, and from that point Google’s rules apply to that player.
If we ever add measurement
Should these sites ever adopt a measurement tool, it will be a cookieless, aggregate one (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics — no cookies, no personal data), and this page will say so on the day it goes live. We will not quietly add anything that sets a cookie; if that ever changed, so would this page, the same day.
WordPress sites in the ecosystem
Two sites in the AIFN ecosystem run on WordPress and do use cookies for signed-in users, session management, and site analytics:
- aiready.sg (the course platform) — its own privacy and cookie notices, published on that site, cover those.
- community.aifirstnation.org (the community) — its own privacy and cookie notices, published on that site, cover those.
The static sites covered by this statement have no accounts, no logins, and no WordPress infrastructure — which is why they can honestly say they set no cookies of their own.
